Here are the credit card payment methods that you can use as well as information on how to use them.

JCPenney Credit Card Payment Methods

JCPenney Credit Card Payment Online

Just like with any other store, JCPenney offer an online payment option for your credit card. All you have to do is to create an online account and, once you have created it, you can make your payments.

Having an online account also allows you to see payment notifications, view and download your entire account activity (quite useful) when you create your monthly budgets or need it for taxing reasons, get paperless statements, view your credit line limit and request an increase, if you need it.

How to pay your JCPenney Credit Card online:

  1. Go to https://www.jcpcreditcard.com/
  2. Select an option: either register an account with them or log into your existing account. Make sure, if you choose to register, to provide EXACT details. Address, name, phone number etc.
  3. Log into your account.
  4. Look for the Pay My Bill link when you’ll have to enter information about your checking account (the one you’ll send money from) and also the amount of money you want to pay. You can also select the date you want it to be transferred.
  5. Once this is set, you’ll be at ease with at least one of the JCPenney credit card payment methods, as everything is automated from now on.

Just make sure to pay in full every month, in order to stay away from nasty fees and remain debt free, as much as possible.

Make sure you have set a proper date for the payments (ideally after getting your salary), so that the payment always clears on time. It can take up to 3 days for the payments to be processed, so don’t worry if you don’t see it cleared.

If you chose the JCPenney credit card payment online option with an email address you often use, you’ll get a notice when the payment has posted, so that you can be sure everything is OK. It doesn’t hurt to log into your account every few weeks though, to see your current standing and payments.

JCPenney Credit Card Payment By Mail

If you don’t like paying online, there’s also an option to send the payment via mail.

To make credit card payments to JCPenney by mail, you can do so by sending a check for the amount you owe along with your current JCPenney statement to the address that is specified on your JCPenney statement.

  1. I do not receive the statement. I need to know what to put on the line of (pay to the order of), sometimes it’s the bank others is the store. Just want to be sure, after logging the first time in tonight the JCPenney didn’t allow me to login no more. The payment method is a money order.

    • Sorry to hear about this, Rosario. Always phone them and make sure to keep them in the loop. Sometimes customer service is not perfect, so you always need to keep an eye on them and get them on the phone as soon as possible. It’s annoying, since it’s a lot of wasted time on your part, but it has to be done. Let me know if you succeeded with it 😉
